I have a great video, too, which I'll try to post later today. Bikes are not the only totally awesome thing this household has done lately...
Ta da! Yes, we went bowling. It was very crazy (nap was an epic fail that day) but it was also extremely neat to see my son bubbling with excitement. I loved bowling alleys as a kid so it was something neat to share with him.
Cons? G had a really hard time waiting his turn. Mostly because he is a toddler but also because of his communication delay. He wanted to "bow" with each person (Uncle Danny and Aunt Cait were extremely helpful and we are so happy they came to- though sorry it was so crazy!). He also really wanted to get the ball himself and we had a few near misses of bowling ball meets Graham's foot. His new thing is to scream when he's frustrated so there was a lot of that.
Pros? Everything else. G was so happy to be doing something new and loved rolling the bowling ball down the lane. The bumpers came up automatically on his turn which was also exciting. He was very impressed with the fact that the ball comes out of some crazy metal thing that seems to also blow air. When he was finally too crazy to keep anywhere near the lane we headed to the arcade so Brent, Danny, and Cait could play without crazy crazy Graham. Hollywood's arcade is super crappy but we didn't mind. They had one of the hammer games where you beat things down when they pop up and skee ball so we were entertained.
