Away to Rockaway!

My mother does not like the heat. Not even a little. She likes fall and she loves winter's darkness. So when my phone told me it would be 90 degrees in our city I thought: "We should go to the coast."


And so we did.



Our last trip to the coast was Seaside. Graham wasn't too keen on visiting the beach that time and our trip culminated with a two minute attempt to walk to the water and five minute fit which ended as soon as he was sure we were done trying to persuade him. Really now, what kid of mine doesn't absolutely adore the ocean to practically the point of worshipping it? However, this time he was cool with it. He loved watching Allie and I dig I'm the wet sand and bury my feet as the tide came in.



He also loved exploring with his dad- just as he does everywhere we go!
