Maeve, unlike her brother, was a bit impatient to join us out here. She was born a week early- July 10th at 9:29 at night. Oddly enough, her brother was born around the same time at night on January 10th. They are exaclty two and a half years apart! Graham weighed in under 8 pounds, but as you can see Maeve was a bit bigger.
Once she was here, we had a few hiccups and were in the hospital for a bit longer than we had expected. However, we are happy to report that our now 7 week old darling is thriving! She is quite healthy and aside from the typical newborn fussiness she's rather happy, too! She had many visitors while still in the hospital but the most frequent was her Uncle Danny who was a lifesaver to us during this time. His calm demeanor and reassuring presence were so appreciated.
Oh, and Graham is rather happy she's here, too! :)
